Who created Homegrown Goods?

We are the same Seattle-based team that has been running Homegrown Sustainable Sandwiches since 2009 and want to bring our focus on sustainable sourcing, excellent customer service and experience crafting delicious food to home grocery delivery.

Why should I shop with Homegrown Goods?

We are proud to be a Seattle-based company that has very high food safety standards, employing our own trusted employees rather than contract workers, and keeping refrigerated items chilled during their journey to your kitchen. We offer a curated set of our favorite grocery items that support PNW producers, including hyper-local produce during the growing season.

What is a Weekly Delivery?

Setting up a Weekly Delivery puts your best-loved grocery items on auto-pilot and saves you 5% on everything you purchase. We'll deliver your favorites weekly (with no delivery/service fees) and remind you when you can add extra items each week. Of course, you can always just make a one-time order if that suits you better.

How do I sign up for Weekly Delivery?

Checkout with a cart of $50+ and select "Enable Weekly Delivery" to save 5% on all your purchases. We’ll bring your groceries every week with no delivery/service fees.

How can I change my Weekly Delivery?

Login to your account & go to the Weekly Delivery page found under the top right menu. You may add/delete items or skip your Weekly Delivery up until 4 PM the before your next delivery (we’ll email you 2 days before your next delivery so you know when it’s time to think about groceries). You may change your delivery day with a weeks notice - we currently offer deliveries on Monday through Thursday.

How can I see if I'm in your delivery area?

Click the "Set Zip" button on the top part of the page and we can help you search your zip code. If you're not currently in our delivery area, we'd love to put you on our waitlist as we expand our service.

How does delivery work?

  • We typically deliver between 10am and 6pm on your day of delivery
  • Deliveries are "no-contact" with items in a sealed box
  • Chilled items will be packed with ice packs and can sit for 1 – 2 hours
  • You will receive a text when your order is being delivered
  • If you have special instructions, please add on the checkout page

When will I get my order?

We deliver orders Monday through Thursday between 10 AM - 6 PM. Place your order 1 day in advance before 4 PM (i.e., by Mon at 4 PM for Tuesday delivery).

What do I do with the packaging & ice packs?

Cardboard boxes & dividers can be recycled in your curbside bin.

Cut ice packs open. The inside gel (made of water & non-GMO cotton) goes into your food & yard waste bin (do not pour down the drain!). The outer plastic can be recycled at a plastic film drop-off location or via Ridwell.com home pick-up.
